Melissa and Darren are a lovely young couple who spend most of their time studying and caring for animals. They chose the beautiful and historic Pemaquid Point Lighthouse as their venue, and Maine cooperated by supplying the most amazing weather. I love small, intimate ceremonies like this, where the focus is on celebrating with close family members. Loved getting to work with these two, and loving every opportunity to shoot in Maine!
Months ago, Jose asked me to photograph a surprise proposal to his partner Daniela. Then Coronavirus happened. Through weeks of quarantine and social distancing, we developed a plan. With help from the folks at the Houston Arboretum, Jose arranged for a romantic setting, and we coordinated to ensure a photoshoot that captured the love and happiness of the occasion while maintaining safe social distancing measures.
The stormy forecast cleared, Daniela said yes, and we made some great photographs. I'm grateful that Jose couldn't wait to propose - conducting a socially-distant photoshoot was a fun challenge, and it was great to work with these two. Congratulations Daniela and Jose!
I have to say, in the five or so years I've been doing this, I have never seen so much laughter at a wedding. From start to finish, everyone in the room had a smile on their face, and laughter could be heard anywhere you went. I am so happy to have been able to capture Cat and Tulio's wedding, and I'm thrilled to share these highlights with everyone:
Thrilled to share highlights from Heather and MacKenzie's beautiful wedding at the rustic Olde Dobbin Station in Montgomery, TX. Wonderful people, perfect weather, and a packed dance floor. Congratulations Heather and Mack!
It was inspiring to see the expressions of love and joy in the family and friends of Jason and Gary. The day kicked off at sunrise at the Mecom Fountain in Houston's museum district, and the Covenant Baptist Church was a lovely, intimate venue. I'm honored and thrilled to have been able to capture their ceremony, and to share in their celebration. Congratulations Jason and Gary!
